The Wendy’s Asiago Ranch Chicken Club is pretty great, as it ensures that there are enough ingredients so that the sandwich is not soggy (like many other Wendy’s to-go sandwiches). It comes with everything you’d expect on a chicken sandwich and some unexpected but delightful additions.

“A juicy, lightly breaded chicken breast taken over the top with thick Applewood smoked bacon, Asiago cheese, creamy ranch sauce, crisp lettuce, and tomato, all on a toasted bun. A club favorite that’s anything but boring.” – Wendy’s
Everything in this Wendy’s sandwich just works well together. First, the chicken, with three choices of either spicy, grilled, or homestyle. I would go with either homestyle or spicy since Wendy’s grilled chicken only works well in their salads. Then, lettuce and tomato add stable ingredients which basically work in any sandwich to add some needed texture and crunch. Bacon brings some meaty juices that the chicken doesn’t necessarily bring on its own. Then, there is Wendy’s Asiago cheese which adds a little bit of extra flavor while not being overpowering. Finally, the ranch dressing. Personally, I love ranch dressing and chicken, while some may despise it. This is more of a personal preference. On my sandwich, there was a bit too much which made it soggy, so doing lite ranch would’ve been a good idea.
Every time I go to Wendy’s, and I’m not feeling a salad or a four for four, I would definitely choose this sandwich .
