Burger King’s Whopper

The Whopper is a decent sandwich, with the only thing hurting it being the quality of Burger King’s meat.

“Our WHOPPER® Sandwich is a ¼ lb* of savory flame-grilled beef topped with juicy tomatoes, fresh lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, ketchup, crunchy pickles, and sliced white onions on a soft sesame seed bun.” – Burger King

Burger King’s whopper burger is their standard burger to compete with McDonald’s quarter pounder. The Whopper uses some of the best burger ingredients out there: tomatoes, pickles, onions, lettuce, mayo, and ketchup. With the standard bun you would expect on most burgers, this sandwich is nearly ripe for exceptional taste. The only thing hurting it, though, is the meat. The meat on the whopper is decently sized, being 1/4lb, but the fake grill marks make it untastly. Burger king’s lack of flavor in their meat is what makes the competition better. Seemingly unsalted and flavorless chewy meat makes this sandwich far from perfect. The lettuce used by Burger King could also use an upgrade, being soggy and sad.

Synopsis: The Burger King Whopper has a good list of ingredients and nice style (and a nice name), but the lack of quality of meat used by Burger King and the sad, sad lettuce make this sandwich far from exceptional.
