Somehow the Big Mac, the McDonalds staple burger, can manage to thirst your quench. How? Through their secret sauce and juicy greases, of course!

“Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun” -McDonalds Commercials
The Big Mac uses many ingredients that most think of when they think of a burger, with a small twist. The Big Mac uses two patties to allow the juices to reach the bottom and top of the burger. The Big Mac uses two layers of lettuce to add crunch to both the bottom and top of the burger. The Big Mac uses onions in both sections of the burger to add flavor to both the bottom and top of the burger.
The Big Mac essentially creates two burgers in one, using their sauce two times, onions two times, lettuce two times, and patties two times. They sensibly use cheese and pickles only once to not overload the flavor. Finally, they put a bottom bun in the center to add some fluff to the burger.

While the burger may sound delicious, is it actually?
Of course, it’s fast food so it won’t be the greatest quality. Personally, I work in fast food, and we usually spend around 10 seconds creating a burger, depending on which one. If McDonalds were to spend much time to craft this burger every time, they would be delicious. Sadly, though, they are rushed, making the burger a little sad many times. Also, they can quickly get soggy due to the special sauce.
Despite this, though, the Big Mac currently remains supreme over the 1,000+ calorie burgers well-known throughout the fast food industry. The first bite into the Big Mac created an influx of joy into my mouth, with every other bite either increasing or decreasing this joy. Of course, the last bite made me regret many of my decisions. If the Big Mac is used as the only meal of the day, it can be great and fulfilling. Most people, though, eat breakfast and lunch before this meal, and the Big Mac can create many situations with one’s stomach, especially topped with fries and a soft drink.
The Big Mac is a great meal for anybody over the age of thirteen, and as Business Insider describes it, “It’s filling, yet small enough to fit in one hand — the perfect meal for the road in a country with a love affair with cars. Its secret sauce is a melange of flavors. It’s stable and consistent no matter where in the world you find yourself — a dependable and innovative burger.” (Hollis Johnson)
Synopsis: The Big Mac is great for a delicious meal, with many different delicious layers, but I would not recommend having anything alongside it except for a lot of water and a lot of celery to flush your stomach.
Score: 5 BigMacs / 10 BigMacs
~I will also be including a sentence or two given by a different friend to give a different perspective on the food item.
External Synopsis:
“The Big Mac is an overhyped sandwich, containing an unbalanced ratio of bread to meat and a rather dry and lackluster quality of taste overall.” – Ryan Conner
